When you place an order with us,
a pre-paid shipping package will be sent to you the same day. The
package will contain all shipping materials needed to insure the
safe delivery and return of your video and new DVD, including a
magnetic shielding envelop to protect the tape(s) from accidental
erasure. Then you just package all materials into the shipping box,
including the video, photographs, negatives and slides for the DVD
and send it to us.
Also, to ensure that the layout
of the DVD is "exactly" as you want it, a "Story
Board" sheet is included with the shipping materials so that
you can detail exactly how the DVD video footage will be arranged,
including transitions, additional audio and opening and ending titles.
Your
DVD will then be compiled and shipped back to you within 7 Business
days from the day we received your package, with all materials sent
to us.

The Basic DVD is for people looking to preserve their video tapes as is on DVD. Our technician will find the starting point of your movie and record the next 2 hours onto the DVD. You can choose how often you want us to place your chapters or just tell us the approximate movie length and we will split your chapters evenly throughout the movie. You can also select one of 5 different menu themes to create a unique DVD.

The Enhanced DVD gives you even more control of your DVD movie than the Basic DVD. Now you can create up to 30 different custom chapter points in your movie. Each chapter is listed on your DVD menus so you can easily skip to your favorite section. You also have a greater selection of DVD Themes to customize the look of your DVD. If you have your own graphic that you would like to use as the background in your DVD menus you can upload it directly to our servers, giving you a completely unique DVD. The Enhanced DVD also gives you advanced authoring features not available on the Basic DVD. You can control how your movie plays when inserted into your DVD player. Do you want your DVD to start playing the movie automatically or go to the Main Menu where your can jump to the Scene Selections? You can even control whether you want you movie to auto repeat, loop individual chapters, or finish a chapter and go back to the menus.

The Premium DVD gives you the best of the Basic DVD and the best of the Enhanced DVD. You get to customize all of you chapter locations, buttons and background. Once you give us your tape we will encode your video into our computers and, with your help, find a scene that best captures the mood of you video. We will then capture 30 seconds of the scene and use if for the background for all your menus. We then go through the video, and at every point chosen for a chapter button, we will capture a 15 second loop that will be used for full motion thumbnail chapter buttons. Alternatively, along with the custom chapters you could select a custom still thumbnail image to identify that chapter. And because we know that with every video of an important event, there are usually, hundreds of still pictures taken, you also get a slide show selection of 30 of you favorite pictures, slides or negatives, or stills from the video.

A photo album on your DVD! With this option we have designed a product that allows you to grab pictures from your video or images from pictures, slides or negatives, and put them into a photo gallery on your DVD. As you scroll through your video setting up your chapter locations, select some of your favorite frames as a SnapShot. You may select up to 60 pictures that will be displayed on three menus located off of your title (main) DVD menu. Highlight a picture and it is displayed on your TV! You can use your arrow keys on the menu to scroll from picture to picture or go back to playing your movie.

You may be curious why we have 2 sets of pricing for our DVD products. Most likely, your Home Movies have been shot on analog consumer video cameras. Our production facility is geared up to handle virtually every type of consumer video media (above). However, we also have substantial capabilities for professionally produced video productions (network productions, corporate video, Professional Videographer Productions, etc.). While every tape we receive gets processed through our Hollywood Quality DVD systems, professional grade tapes must be handled on different tape playing equipment. For example, the tape decks we use to play professional DVCAM tapes costs up to 10 times what our high quality 8mm tape decks cost. The higher prices for professional media types reflects the higher costs associated with processing these formats.
